The original cutting mat is very worn, so I bought a new one, exactly the same. I later found out there is a low-tack cutting mat that I'd like to buy instead. This normal one is too sticky. Lightweight paper shatters (torn in many places) when removed. Similarly, the cardboard separates leaving the back of the cardboard attached to the mat. I even glued in the vinyl backing and it was very painful to scrape it off. After long-term use, it will become less sticky and last a long time.
