Review on Linen Towel Flour Sack Multi Purpose Absorbent by Sarah Garcia

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Finally, a burlap towel that my grandmother had.

For the last few years I've become frustrated with flour sack towels - the ones I found were flimsy, poorly sewn and nowhere near as soft and absorbent as the towels I used to stick to remember my grandmother used . These towels are all I remember - tightly woven, beautifully finished, and they held their shape after the first wash and dry. They are large enough (and beautiful) to be used as large placemats in the kitchen. The thread count is high enough that I could use one of these towels as a strainer when making Greek yogurt or homemade ricotta instead of gauze, which, even at the highest quality, requires multiple layers and is difficult to wash because it unravels. bad. A loop sewn into one corner makes it easy to hang the towel on a closet handle or drying hook. I would have no hesitation in buying these towels again if this set ever wears out, but that seems unlikely.
