This cost about $7 shipping at the time of purchase and saved me from an oil filter nightmare out of my friend's car. Definitely a must-have if you have the displeasure of working with 2010-era Volkswagens. If you're using non-OEM filters on a 2010's VW, they will most likely crash. Typical. Buy a Bosch and you will be satisfied.
