Here's a realistic photo of my two cat's pet feeder on the mat. I must say, I'm impressed because the silicone and ridges seem to catch a lot of the mess, preventing it from traveling around the tile. Also, the mat prevents the feeder from moving while my male cat devours into the bowl, making an annoyingly disgusting mess. Before the mat, there'd be food everywhere, and a lot more than seen in the photo. I purposefully didn't clean the mat for a day and a half, so I could see just how much of a mess it'll catch and be left behind. I'm impressed! Perfect size for cats!
