Firstly I think this product is better engineered than the OEM product. All aluminum; Painted silver as others mention (I agree with the confusion as to why) The biggest issue I had was that this heatsink was missing the bottom brackets on the OEM heatsink - for the fan. The OEM design uses retractable tabs that open the channeled receptacles on the fan shroud bracket. Since no adapter took this discrepancy into account, I had to shell out $#%/. Used a 1/4 x 20 tap and die to drill new threads for a 1" bolt. Attach with a nut and washer to press the bottom tabs of the fan into the bottom bolt holes of the radiator. Seems to be strong enough.(SEE PHOTO) I also added some rubber grommets to the top mounting bracket as it is looser than I found comfortable due to the way it comes - the heatsink brace where the bracket attaches is tightened, doesn't sit like the OEM, lower and therefore more free. With the spill tank built in, it's all pretty tight. Heat the hoses with hot water and use some elbow grease - they're on tight enough that you almost don't need a clamp. but like this far so good no leaks or complaints. Will update review if anything goes wrong but i would say this part is worth $$.
