Doesn't work with Google Pixel 3

The Anker Qi Charger is almost unusable with my Pixel 3 XL. Of course, this is mostly my fault as I didn't read the fine print and just bought a "Qi wireless charger" to use with my new phone. I don't blame Anker for this, quite the opposite: I even blame Google for blocking wireless fast charging and only allowing fast charging technology on their own dock. This is the same anti-consumer junk that Apple has been running for a long time (though ironically not with those Qi wireless chargers; you get it), and I'm disappointed that Google is falling for its bait too. But I digress. This particular Anker device charges my phone, albeit "slowly". The real problem However, the charger appears to be almost entirely incompatible with the Pixel. It says it's charging the phone, but my battery is draining at the same rate as if it weren't connected to the dock at all. In addition, it has serious stability issues; I leave my phone connected to the dock for a few minutes and it suddenly loses connection and stops charging the phone even though I haven't touched the dock or the phone. Very disappointing. I actually bought another Qi wireless charging pad from another manufacturer (made by LK) and while it says it charges "slowly" like this Anker device, does it actually charge my phone and has none of the functions. Connection problems that the anchor block makes. Not sure if it's related to another design or what, but this anchor block is nothing more than a paperweight, which is disappointing. I would expect it to at least charge my phone and I could even live with the slow charging speed if I could turn it on on my phone while I'm at work. Since it can't even do that, it's basically an expensive paperweight and I basically just threw it in the bin. This could have been avoided if I had paid more attention to the fine print or did some research beforehand. Instead of the 1 star I usually give for a useless product, I give Anker 3 stars, not to downgrade the product too much. The general consensus is that this is a good product for other devices, but buyers should be warned before falling into the same trap. that I bought it for my Pixel phone. at your own expense, after reading this review,
