These dainty little bulbs are as tiny as the wires they're attached to. I was worried about wrapping them around my garland but they held up great and look great now. I've used two threads and they work from the same remote, which is great. I would be careful unwinding them as they get tangled easily. You may need extra hands or a little work. You must decide in advance where the battery pack will end. It's transparent so it's easier to hide but is a little heavy/bulky compared to flashlights so you'll need to make sure they have a safe place when you're done.
