We had to watch a few YouTube videos to get familiar with the ratchet (those things always frustrate and scare me) but once we did my 16 year old was able to set it up and take it down self-employed. (She's stronger than most 16-year-olds, but still.) The hardest part is finding the trees at the right distance from each other. We always seem to have 25 to 30 feet of line, and at that length it's pretty springy no matter how hard we can pull it. I think 20 feet would be ideal. However, we still have LOTS of slackline left because the trees we have are not very thick. The bag is great. When you're done, you can reset everything. Either way, it's a great activity for bringing teenagers together. Everyone wants the turnaround and thinks they can do better. HA! It's humiliating. ;)
