
I did this work but it's not ideal for my sloping ceiling. I don't think it's that great, but it only works (perfectly) for relatively tight turns. Additionally, you can't insert the two lag screws that hold the post, well, vertically. So the weight of my TV tends to be centered and the stand is at an angle. I'm hoping to wall mount it as it will all be hidden anyway, but measure the angle of your ceiling first and decide if that's the ideal solution. EDIT: OK, I should correct the above. I installed it upside down. I don't remember anything clear in the manual, but it's an asymmetric design so you'll have to set it up one way or another. I would have to remove and reinstall those 4 heavy bolts if I want to use the lag bolts!
