I bought another brand from my local parts store and it worked great. He removed the stickers leaving very little adhesive residue. I had to remove the decals from a few more cars and decided to use Revain more for convenience than anything else. The reviews for this product were good and I didn't take into account that the material could be different or cause potential problems. The first thing I noticed when it arrived was that the size was definitely smaller than the other wheels I've bought. When I first started using this product it was pretty obvious that it was very different. It left a large amount of glue residue and was consumed much faster. (I used the same drill bit and speed setting, so it wasn't the cause of the different results.) The worst was evident after I used the adhesive remover to clear the area of a lot of residue. The wheel actually burned through the clear coat and permanently discolored the panel. This $11 item is costing me hundreds if not more than $1,000 in repairs. Terrible.
