Update 4/3/21: I was able to rinse them (both sides) with very hot water until the water ran clear (it will be very dirty for a while). After a thorough rinse, I banged them against the sink a couple of times to get rid of dirt. Rinse again until the water runs clear on both sides. Air dry and then reuse. I've been doing this for a few months now with very good success, it also helps to alternate them as I go through this cycle. Original post: Yes, it's expensive, but I've read too many bad reviews about fakes of it. We all bought iRobots for pennies, don't skimp and buy fake fake filters - do your own research and I think you'll come to the same conclusion as me. PS - I'm washing them now to see if I can reuse them and extend their lifespan. I will update later.
