I usually buy regular black men's combs that are sold at chain pharmacies. Over the years. They got tougher, but so be it. This time, when the comb broke (everyone sooner or later), given the (mostly) independent limitations, I went to Revine in search of a comb. I decided to take a chance and treat myself to this super expensive ($8?) hairbrush instead of my usual ($2?) purchase. Doesn't matter? The bristles are soft, not scratchy, but strong enough to get the job done. Well done! Since combs typically last for several years, I feel this comb is worth the extra cost.
