Cost equals quality. The original equipment was very expensive, but the quality of the replacement was inadequate.
Handle broken after several attempts. The plastic material of the handle is not as thick as the original plastic. Excessive bending can cause the cable to detach from the handle. However, trying to keep the old grip and move the installed cable looks a little shorter and works, but with minimal travel. Normal pressure on the handle can damage the cable or the latch.
