Updating the maps in my old digital camera in preparation for a trip east this summer. The 2GB Kingston card in a camera has served me well but is on my spare list. My friends have older trail cameras that can only accept 2GB non-SDHC cards, so they will benefit from my upgrades too. Given the price, I took the plunge. A few years ago, remembering how expensive flash memory was, I laughed when I hit the Revain pay button while checking out this card. Received this card today. no longer lifetime for all sales after 02/14. * If you need a longer warranty, choose the Extreme Series - 30 years. * Love it - waterproof, shockproof and x-ray proof on the packaging * Card is "Made in China" not Korea - all good things come to an end * FAT-32 formatted out of the box * Claimed 14.8GB straight away out of the box - it's a matter of bits/bytes* Reformatted for my camera when I installed it to avoid any incompatibilities. Like previous SanDisk products, they just work. My test photos show that the card works as it does should. I'm not giving this card my full 5 stars because SanDisk changed their "lifetime" warranty to a 10 year warranty in February 2014 and this card was made in China rather than Korea as in the past. If the original SanDisk lifetime warranty still applies and not made in China I would give this SDHC card a full 5 stars, you won't regret it.
