I painted 72 feet of front and back fences in one day with this little tool and a translucent stain/wood protector. I only had one previous experience with the sprayer - it wasn't good. That was great. Yes, I often had to stop and fill up. Yes, I am completely exhausted. My shoulders screamed. But it was absolutely better and a trillion times faster than brush/roller. Once you're comfortable, the coverage will be even. Flexing the wrists, elbows, or shoulders will result in a change in coverage. Unfortunately, deep squats are the best way to keep coverage even. Imagine Charlie's Angels posing, gun right in front of you. I was so glad I bought it - it literally saved me days of work.
