Books for babies and toddlers need to be able to chew them and this is not the kind of book. I think the material is age appropriate but not the style of the book. This is a great song book to introduce the child to other languages. This is good because when they are babies it is easier for them to understand and learn multiple languages rather than waiting until they are older.
