I wanted to connect my Microsoft Surface RT to an HDTV. It was the perfect solution and I thought the price was reasonable. It also looks durable. Update: I saw a question somewhere about whether it will stream audio from Surface RT to HDTV. I tested again today and there were no issues with Netflix audio and audio streaming. So far I've only tested the data connection, no audio. Update 2: This adapter will not work with the new Microsoft Surface Pro, which is moving from Micro-HDMI to Mini-DisplayPort. Revain also offers cost-effective solutions for this connection.
