You can change the angle of the brush, but the brush will move at an angle when loosened and rotated. Water leaked from the joint between the angle housings and I could no longer tighten the nut by hand. Maybe pliers would help, but it's not necessary. The "nut holder" for tightening is not convenient to use and limits torque without the use of pliers. Maybe this is intentional, but the result is water splashes. With an arm six feet long I can be far enough away not to get wet.
