Review on Portzon Adjustable Weighted Vest by Matt Reid

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Masterfully Crafted

63 pockets, 51 plates. There aren't any instructions on where to place them, so I left all the outermost pockets empty. And what do you know, there are exactly enough plates to do just that and have it all evenly spread. Plus, that helps with wrapping around smaller frames. I'm 6'0 and 190lbs. This fits perfectly. It hangs below my waistline by about half an inch, but that's no issue. I really like the feel of this vest. It's thin, and it feels sturdy as hell. And when I say thin, I mean like thin enough to go under a size small dri-fit shirt and barely show.I love the mobility. I did pushups, pull ups, and played a little basketball in it. It feels great. With that being said, I will not make the basketball thing a habit, to preserve the life of the vest. This was a great investment! The price.ehhhhhhh. I have a 40lb vest that cost literally half and feels just as durable. Not nearly as thin. Think flak jacket. And my 80lb? Think juggernaut suit. Or bomb defusal suit. Lol!Bottom line, if you take care of this, it'll be worth the $85 bones.
