If it were a desert it would be easy.

I bought this as a replacement. Couldn't be easier. open your door Mount the metal stop. Move the door back an inch. Pull out the pin on the right. Pull out the pin on the left. Remove the old closer. Hold the new one closer in place. Insert the pen on the right. Manually drag about three inches closer to the left. Mount the metal stop. Position the left side of the closer. Insert the left pin. Release the metal stop. Enjoy your new one closer. Well, about the time it would take to read this twice... about how long it would take you to get this close-up replacement! Serious.
