Sharp and clear Best camera lens

I've had this lens for a few weeks now and it's taken about 150 shots and I have to say it's amazing! Since the term is so relative, here is some information: I have a Canon Rebel XT with a kit lens (Canon 18-55) and a Sigma 70-300. The whale lens suited me, and I took the 70-300 lens for the zoom. The clarity of the 70-300 lens has never been better than the kit lens - it's a little blurry, if only in certain lighting conditions. The inconvenience of carrying 2 lenses, the difficulty of changing lenses when traveling, and the possibility of damaging the sensor when changing lenses on the beach or in a dusty place made me buy the 18-200. I didn't want to buy the Canon 18-200 primarily because of the price and also because the reviews weren't much better than this lens. It was a calculated risk considering my only other Sigma lens isn't as good as the one mentioned above. The Sigma 18-200 was far better than the other two lenses I have owned so far. The images are clearer and the response is super fast. Yes, it doesn't have image stabilization, but I don't really care, since I use a tripod most of the time, it's important. I've tested it many times without a tripod and haven't had any issues, but that just depends on the user. My high opinion of this lens was further confirmed when my friend (an avid photographer) snapped some shots with my camera and this lens a few days ago when we met - he was very impressed with the quality! I recommend this product.
