No directions in English but you can understand it.
Looks great. I assembled it myself although the instructions are in Chinese. You must add English. But just sit down with your pieces and pay attention to where the nail holes are and just study the picture of the shelf and you will understand. I painted my shelf dark brown with spray paint. You can only buy a shelf in wild bright colors, and it was a gift. My shelf looks amazing after I painted it. Looks like a real tree. Angela from Arkansas.
