Each had different temperature readings

For the price I really can't complain. I have several aquariums and arachnids, so they're definitely enjoyable. My only issue is that they all read different temperatures of up to 2 extra degrees even though they were in the same room so I really wouldn't trust them to be super accurate if you have temperature sensitive pets. And yes, they came with batteries. already installed and working so I don't know how long the batteries will last.
