They are great! They are a great combination of "roll-up" plastic trays and "extendable" silicone trays. I took a reviewer's advice and soaked them in hot, soapy water to wash away any possible plastic taste. Some friends have other green silicone drawers that I wanted to get my hands on. However, it is actually very difficult to get ice out of these bowls compared to these bowls. The cubes themselves come out as 1×1-inch cubes, which is the perfect size for basically anything I need to use ice for (i.e. definitely fits in a narrow-necked water bottle).
