Alternative to 3m tape

I bought this because I had no luck with 3m tape. I tried Frog Tape (which I like and works great) but I needed a good amount and didn't want to spend money on Frog Tape. I tried this masking tape and it worked great for my project. Two things were important to me when trying out this band. 1) I didn't want the existing paint to be stripped off the wall (it worked great for my application). 2) I didn't want the new color to "bleed through". (Again, this tape worked great with no "bleeding". The tape did well on both counts, and for my purchase price it was good value.
