Works great with MacBook Air 2017
I used this to fit an internal Western Digital Blue SN550 1TB NVMe SSD (WDS100T2B0C) and it works great. Comes with a new longer screw to slightly increase the length needed as the SSD is now on top of the adapter. It sits a little higher than I'd like, but I've upgraded to two 2017 MacBook Airs with no issues. I would recommend it to anyone so you can get a bigger SSD without resorting to much more expensive Apple OEM drives or expensive OWC drives.
