Review on 🔧 Dorman 741 010 Odyssey Driver Regulator: Optimizing Performance With Superior Quality by Joey Richardson

This is junk. I'm writing this review about 1 year after purchase and installation. Easy to install, it fits and seems to work well but won't last long. For reference, this is a light delivery truck. I could drive 5,000 miles since installing this controller. Living in a colder climate, I bet I haven't used a window more than 20-30 times. The problem is that the plastic roller/guide is cheap. Mine literally fell apart and the cable slipped off rendering the ESC unusable. While the product looks like decent quality, it is only as strong as its weakest link. In this case, it's the cheap plastic roller they use. When you buy a product like this, you expect it to serve you for years. I got 17 years from the original part. I was hoping that buying more branded parts (like Dorman) would last longer than really cheap generic Chinese junk. I would stay away from this product unless you intend to replace the part again in a few years.
