Excellent camera! I have bought many cheaper DVRs but they only lasted 2 or 3 months and then blew. You can buy these at Wal-Mart for $39. After buying 5 of these I started to think it was because they sit in the heat day in and day out and maybe it has something to do with it. That's when I found this device, and it even says it's set to a high temperature in the window. Yes it's a lot more expensive but if it lasts 10 times longer than the junk I bought it will pay for itself. I also have a backup camera which is a great addition. I would definitely recommend that too because I've had people following the closure and if something happens it's usually their fault but people are very good at lying and will definitely lie and having that is definitely a Plus. All the extra features this camera has like lane departure warning and many other features are great, but once you start using them they become more of a nuisance than useful. It rings all the time so I turned everything off. Great camera and picture is also very good.
