This works well with my PC running Windows 10. The software has a limited choice of recording type and quality, "DVD" is best, and the file is saved as an MPG . Using a USB 3.0 port, I recorded a VHS video at 720 x 480 resolution and 29.97 fps. The sound was recorded in 16 bit 48 kHz stereo. The total bitrate was 8224 kbps for a 3:59 minute recording with a 240 MB file size. Quality depends a lot on the source, but a good quality VHS upscaled to 1920x1080P/30 doesn't look bad with DaVinci Resolve Studio. For the price it's just amazing. 20 years ago something similar was rack mounted, made by Matrox or Canopus, and cost over $1,000.
