Bought this to replace the OEM dome that came with the 8 input system with Gym DVR in our guest room. The camera's original video quality has degraded over time, making it "fuzzy," blurry and difficult to see familiar faces and what's in the room. Installed this device immediately upon receipt and noticed a dramatic improvement in video quality. Application over the home network, over the wireless network. Easy connection, installation and assembly. Only 2 DIP switches for format selection. Its performance will improve over time. UPDATE: This is the second camera, a barrel camera, that I installed in the yard on the southwest corner of my house. Our neighbor across the street ran into our post office. box and run. hit and run. The camera's current view in the northwest corner of the house was blocked by our boat in the driveway, rendering it inadmissible in court or even showing evidence it was hit by them. So I bought and installed this camera to make sure I have time-stamped video proof next time. Last time it was a mailbox and pole, next time might be my truck!
