The 15.6-inch InnoView portable monitor has a nice, crisp display and solid build quality, but it's heavy and requires a few cables to connect. This number depends on what you're connecting to, but if you think you can just plug in your phone (especially if it's an iPhone), think again. It's probably easiest to set up a laptop, but I found that anyone who installed this way had 2 cables. I was also able to set it up with 2 cables and a power supply. I may not have needed the second cable once it was plugged in, but you'll need one for power (whether USB-C or power bank (included). Tried setting it up with a computer flash drive, like me Actually I had all the cables from another portable monitor but this one only needed a second cable to work with the touchscreen, I couldn't get it to work with this one but that's because it needed a different cable HDMI output (female) and the cable that comes with the id HDMI to mini HDMI monitor (both female), so at least 2 cables are needed for the flash drive, one of which was not included.{It was configured and working with a touchscreen portable monitor as well as a 7" raspberry pi display but it was a bit more complicated than all the others. I then set it up with a mini pc. You see 3 cables a On the picture, but one thing wasn't really necessary or rather didn't work, I couldn't get any data through usb With a mini PC I used HDMI and a power supply. I originally tried USB C to USB C for power (as advertised) and USB C to USB A for data, nothing, but it worked with HDMI. If you want to use it with a phone, it's more complicated, requiring adapters and a separate power supply. I'm glad I don't want to use it like that. The lid is serviceable but finicky, a bit of an issue getting it out and holding it. After all, it costs almost twice as much as comparable monitors. All in all, this is a great monitor. , a nice, crisp display and good build quality, but it's heavy. Multiple cables are required unless you consider the PSU as a cable, but you can't use 1 cable for data and power. At least I haven't been able to get it to work on the two types of machines I've tried. This summary explains why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. {Although theoretically 3 stars is average everything seems to expect 5 stars unless.} I find it above average, very good but also expensive for what it is.
