description is sparse so i'll add a few details. Inside 6 pockets, 3 on each side but not on the ends. The pockets are about 4.5 inches deep, about the same size, and "bulge out" meaning they're good for holding tape measures, plier handles, etc., but not individual screwdriver shafts. There are 7 external pockets 5 inches deep. , 3 + 1 with velcro on one side, 3 on the other. The two sides of the bag (not the ends) are padded between the inner and outer canvas layers, giving them rigidity and helping the bag stay open when needed. The open top measures 14" long x 8" wide x 9" high. The materials and workmanship are top notch.
