I'm a little worried about the possibility of splinters near the base of the scrubber since it's made out of wood. Some parts are not aligned and polished. It hangs beautifully on my shower stall and the pumice stone needs to be rinsed out before use. Removes calluses and exfoliates very well! better than nails. Note that some pumice grains will fall out from time to time, causing a bit of a mess under where you hang this scrubber.
