I have a toilet next to my bedroom. I used to use a night light with a photocell so it turns on automatically. It worked and allowed me to see into the room without turning on the overhead light which was interfering with my eyes. Because of this, I kept the toilet door closed so I wouldn't turn off the light to sleep. Finally, it occurred to me to find a night light with a motion sensor. That's cool! I can leave the bathroom door open. The light detects movement in the dark and turns on when I need to go to the bathroom at night. It also turns off the light after about a minute, which allows me to fall back asleep quickly. Also, it won't turn on when there's already light in the area, and there are 3 light intensity options to choose from. I got 2 of these for $6.99. Very affordable, especially when compared to most night lights of the same type here at Revain.
