Works exactly like Atmel AVRISP MKII for STK500 command line programming

Works as an exact replacement for the original (obsolete) Atmel AvrIsp MKII .I am using this with the Atmel STK500 command line programming tool for production programming of the ATMega bootloader sector. Tried the Olimex brand before, which didn't work (wrong pinout, if you don't add an adapter from 10 to 6 pins, probably problems with the drivers). This WaveShare dongle not only LOOKS like an AVRISP MKII, it ACTIONS too. There are no changes to the cable assignment or the driver. I can easily switch the original and back. This is now my AVRISP MKII replacement.
