An Almost Perfect Purse for Traveling & Hiking

This is a well designed purse for travel, hiking, and, in my case, for birding. The three separate storage areas are ample in size to hold a wallet, glasses, #10 envelopes or trail maps/pamphlets. It could even hold a pair of small binoculars. In the main zippered section of the purse there is a zip pocket to hold small items, and a Keychain lanyard so you can instantly retrieve your keys. In the second zippered section there are two slip pouch pockets which can hold a small bottle of liquid hand sanitizer, or, bug spray, the other can hold a pair of sunglasses, and ample room for other items. The pockets are deep enough to hold tall items and not clash with the top zipper. There are two outside pockets - the back pocket has a Velcro closure for security and easy retrieval of items, and the front flap pocket has a nice gusset to hold thicker items. My criticisms are the Velcro on the front gusseted flap pocket is extremely weak and won't keep heavy items from falling out. The weak Velcro gave way, causing my cell phone to fall out of the pocket when I put my purse down. My phone fell on the floor. Not good! I have a big Galaxy S22 Ultra cell phone. An interior slip pocket for a large cell phone would have given it a five star review. The Velcro didn't keep the pocket closed. I would prefer a third zipper closure, or clasp, instead of a Velcro closure on the front flap pocket. One improvement would be a wider strap to keep the purse from falling off my shoulder. It is a nearly perfect purse for hiking or other outdoor activities. The purse did well on our recent trip to northern Michigan - enduring the rough woodlands, thick dense shrubs, and the sandy beach.
