My DeVille 96 was quite sluggish on shutdown, jerky at idle and could have started sooner. After reading a bit on CadillacOwners.com, I found that I needed new spark plugs and wires. These are factory plugs and Northstar V8 engines call for plugs so I took them. After installation with new plug wires, it runs much more smoothly, quieter when idling and hums at full throttle. Grab these for your late 90's Northstar Cadillac and you can't go wrong.
