I used this to connect a Goal Zero Yeti 1000x generator to a Bluetti PV200 to connect the panel. I'm new to this whole world of solar panels and generators, so I was concerned when I saw that the orientation of the Anderson connectors on the cable (horizontal) did not match the orientation of the Yeti (vertical). Also, I originally thought I needed different "sex" ends of the Anderson connector than the ones on this cable. Fortunately 1. The connection orientation of the positive (red) and negative (black) Anderson plugs of this cable can be changed with an intelligent "groove and groove" system; and 2. As it turns out, Anderson connectors don't have a gender - any individual Anderson connector (for a wire) can be connected to another by turning one upside down. So, to connect this cable to the Yeti X, all you have to do is (all the steps for this cable): 1. Slide the protective plastic cover off the Anderson connectors; 2. slide apart the two Anderson connectors (one black, one red); 3. Make sure each _individual_ Anderson connector is properly rotated to mate with the corresponding Anderson connector on the Yeti;4. Once you see the correct orientation, connect the two Anderson connectors together; 5. Replace the protective plastic cover.
