Review on PPA OLSHAWHT Accent Lighting White by Paula Ward

I would give this 5 stars except for the cost, how long my previous set lasted and if it had a different on/off switch than the one on the remote. Bought this to replace a similar one that no longer works. I have this behind my HDTV and love it. I used it mostly on the highest settings and after about a year (or maybe 2?; 4400-8800 hours of use) the LEDs slowly started to dim until they stopped working at all. (I thought LEDs were supposed to last a lot longer!) In addition to this kit I also bought an LED extension kit (2 extra LED strips) so I now have 4 strips on the back of the TV. And set them to a lower brightness setting, but still get the same amount of light as you would from two strips. So I hope it lasts longer than the previous set.
