I bought one with two spikes. Yes, they're cheaper than most spikes, but they work. The materials are a bit budgetary but don't skimp on the quality of the metal used. I used them to climb up a pole in the yard and attach a small solar panel to it (with help from someone on the ground + rope and pulley to hoist my materials up). I like how they look a bit post-apocalyptic. They would be good for a bug bag. If you don't like the straps they send you, you can replace them with others. The most important thing is the strength of metal spikes. They are strong and sharp enough to pierce the bar and support my weight (150 pounds). Make sure you tie them as recommended and attach your boot to the "insole" to keep your shoe from slipping off. Run a few test boosts to make sure they're installed properly. It's fun and it's a good workout! Hope this is helpful!
