Doesn't work with Windows 10 on my HP Elite Book but works on my husband's HP ProBook

Doesn't work on my HP Elite Book with Windows 10. Mouse is powered; The red light is on below, but there is no mouse on the screen. It works great on my husband's HP ProBook. No troubleshooting information. or help on the product page on the manufacturer's website.
