Review on 🔵 AMI PARTS-4040 Humidifier Water Solenoid Valve Replacement - 24V 2.3W, Compatible with B2015-S85 B2017-S85 220 224 400 400A Models - Blue by Elder Unogu

The humidifier has been on my stove for fifteen years. During that time, I learned that when a valve won't open, it must be removed, placed in the CLR, the compression fitting replaced, and reinserted. I put the valve in a beaker so I can submerge the brass valve without getting the electrical part into the CLR. I activate the valve while it's there by touching the wires from the valve to the 9 volt battery so I know it's moving. I'm sure I threw away many valves that could be revived before I found out. But I figured it was time for a new valve. This is the first time this new valve has stayed open. Their standard position is closed, so to speak. They stay closed as calcium builds up inside them, usually when they're sitting in the summer. An open lid indicates that it is simply poorly made. After the third jam, I removed it and put the old valve back in place. I have two ovens and two humidifiers, I have replaced both valves with these but one is not good. So I wouldn't buy the valve. I've never had this problem, but I really don't want my hot water running continuously until I notice it. I would try a different one next time. I'm giving two stars because only one of the two valves I bought doesn't work, but I would say it's a poorly made valve.
