This switch is a perfect replacement for the 2011 Chevy Traverse master window switch when it is not working properly. But first, watch an online video that explains how to remove the door panel. I've removed quite a few different brands of door panels and the 2011 Chevy Traverse is the toughest panel I've ever removed. The doorstops are very well made and feel solid and will not come loose. Contrary to most of the videos offered online, I first unscrewed the plugs from the door opening. I used some doorstop remover and some metal spatula to protect the paint. Work one stub at a time, a few clicks, until it's completely removed. Open at least two plugs. You can then slide your fingers through to pry off the door panel. Once you have all the plugs, removing the doorknob cable is probably the most difficult part of the entire installation. The door panel is hanging, so you have to be quick. It looked so easy in all the videos on the internet. A flathead screwdriver works best. Once that is done and the wiring harness is removed, installation is very easy. Blade removal tool to remove the main switch attachment first from the inside and then from the outside - all you need. Great replacement. Highly recommended.
