Received our balance a few days ago. We immediately noticed that the factory is secondary. The box had a few dents as if it had been opened multiple times, the power cord was not in a bag, not sealed with tape etc and the foam packaging was broken as if someone was in a hurry to repackage it. But the scale works fine (so far). It was calibrated at the factory and we tested it with our set of calibration weights. The scale also came with a 200g calibration weight, so we tested that too (perfect). The scale is sensitive to wind and vibration, so it's important to use it on a stable table away from windows, air conditioners, etc. The power cord is very short (maybe 3 feet?) which is inconvenient. The scale can also be powered by a 9V battery, but we don't have one, so we can't say if it will work. Our big question is: Who is the manufacturer? There is no name on the box, instructions or scale. Very very strange.
