the seat belts snapped and my daughter almost fell
We have had ours for less than a year and I have two main complaints. 1) Shoulder straps broke this week. My daughter was in, leaned forward and it just clicked. 2) When they broke, she leaned forward very far when rocking and the whole seat leaned forward so quickly that she would have fallen out if I hadn't been there to grab her. It scared me half to death. For the record, she is 19 months old and weighs 25 pounds which is pretty safe for a swing and we have been using her for about 9 months.
