They work fine. suitable for building materials
Install the 2x2 metal posts that we installed. I just wish the design wasn't '1950'. It's hard to find caps that are just super clean. I was looking for a metal cap that would fit into the 2x2 and then close it flush. Just square and straight. Although they work great. Add Muretic Acid to remove the electroplating so the lids will rust like the raw 2x2 steel they cover.
