If you've had coir mats before, this will be similar. I especially wanted a breathable one without a rubberized bottom so it dries faster after a good rain - this style is becoming increasingly difficult to find at typical hardware stores and those that carry rugs. So I ordered this one. Track the price and you can pick it up for about the same price they usually sell locally (if you can find it). Yes, they lose and wear out over time. But that's typical of every coco rug I've ever had. This one wears well right on the doorstep compared to others I've had and doesn't lose any more than them.
