I have Clopay hardware on my garage door, this is not a replacement. My garage door has "nuts" preinstalled in the garage door and at least one of the holes will not line up so you will need to drill at least one hole. There are two holes that will fit if you install it upside down, but that creates another problem because the door will stick. Drilling a hole to line up the pre-installed nuts seemed like a bad idea to me because that hole would also meet another pre-cast hole that would loosen the fastener. I replaced the old one because it was bent.
