Color peels off after just a few uses
They appear to feel and look high quality but once you use them there are a few problems. First, because they're metal, they don't make solid contact with the pan. The silicone molds allow them to flex a bit which provides a good seal to prevent the eggs from falling out of the bottom. Second, the handles get hot because they are metal and can easily pop out when cleaning the rings if you use the handle to hold it while cleaning. Third, the paint is peeling off one of mine, which means it's now exposed rusty metal that you don't want to get in contact with your perfectly white balls. Throw them away and buy a silicone version instead.
