The platform allows for many different types of functionality from forums/communities that are focused around specific topics or customers needs all while being able to connect those groups via their own internal networks as well. It also has additional benefits such as ability to create mobile apps which further enhances engagement across devices! There have been some initial issues but I'm sure they will be addressed shortly due to continued development within this area. We were looking at alternative platforms until recently when we came upon vanilla forum's capabilities. They allow users to participate in multiple ways through social media sites like Facebook & Twitter allowing them greater access than other competitors who only offer one way communication (like ours).
